Lauren Piccione

Lauren Piccione is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she received a degree in Music Education and a Performers Certificate. During her time as a Longhorn, she proudly performed with the Longhorn Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble, giving her the opportunity to travel to California for bowl games, Washington D.C. for the presidential inaugural parade, as well as Napa Valley and Europe with the Wind Ensemble. She also earned a Masters degree from The University of Maryland in French Horn Performance. During her time in Maryland, she enjoyed performing with numerous orchestras including the Baltimore Symphony. Mrs. Piccione continues to perform professionally with orchestras in Austin and the surrounding area. One of her favorite musical performance memories is getting to play in the orchestra on stage with world-renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli at Moody Theater!

Lauren loves watching college football and reading when she's not playing horn. Her husband is a professional trumpeter and Leander ISD private lesson teacher. They have two kids (Jeffrey & Olivia), and one sweet rescue dog named Penny. Mrs. Piccione is PUMPED to join the Austin Horn Camp this summer!
